Talent Edge Consulting Private Limited seeks a detail-oriented Floor Plan Specialist with at least one year of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate demonstrates proficiency in interpreting residential house floor plans and architectural drawings. This role requires a solid understanding of dimensions, measurements, and layouts to accurately analyze and work with floor plans. A background in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Drafting is preferred to meet the technical demands of the position. Although experience in team management is not required, collaboration with various stakeholders to achieve project goals is essential.
The Floor Plan Specialist is responsible for converting architectural concepts into detailed plans using tools such as SketchUp and other 3D modeling software. Knowledge of AutoCAD is considered an added advantage in enhancing the accuracy and presentation of designs. This role demands careful attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to adapt technical drawings into usable formats for construction and design teams. Candidates are encouraged to bring their expertise and passion for architectural planning to deliver high-quality outputs within project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyze residential house floor plans and architectural drawings with precision and clarity.
- Use Floor Plan Drafting and 3D Modeling software, including SketchUp, to create accurate and detailed visual representations of building layouts.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to clarify specifications and ensure consistency in design implementation.
- Confirm all dimensions, measurements, and layout details to ensure compliance with relevant codes and project requirements.
- Revise and update floor plans based on project changes or feedback from stakeholders to maintain up-to-date documentation.
- Utilize AutoCAD software to enhance drawing quality and workflow efficiency wherever applicable.
- Support project teams by producing technical documentation and visual aids required for presentations and client consultations.
- Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and related technical data for easy retrieval and reference.
- Continuously develop technical skills and stay updated on industry standards and advancements in architectural drafting and modeling tools.
- Assist with quality control processes by reviewing plans and models to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.
