VALVE SHOP MANAGER

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain an accurate inventory of valves and related components to ensure availability for operations.
Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams to replenish stock timely and negotiate favorable terms.
Inspect and verify the quality and specifications of incoming and existing valve inventory.
Maintain records of repairs, maintenance, and replacements to track the lifecycle of valves.
Implement and monitor standard operating procedures for valve handling and storage to preserve quality.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to address any issues or requirements related to valve operations.
Monitor shop activities to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Prepare reports and documentation related to inventory status, maintenance activities, and operational metrics.
Identify opportunities to improve inventory processes, reduce costs, or increase efficiency in the valve shop.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the valve shop.
