We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to join our team on full-time basis. This entry-level position is ideal for a fresh graduate with 1 or 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field. The Accounting Assistant will support our finance department in various accounting tasks and assist in maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
2. Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
3. Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders in a timely manner.
4. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management review.
5. Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
6. Help maintain organized and up-to-date financial files and documentation.
7. Support the finance team in month-end and year-end closing activities.
8. Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by the Finance Manager.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or a related field (B.Com/BBA preferred).
2. 1-2 years of relevant experience in related field.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Eager to learn and progress in the field of accounting.
7. Must be currently living in Karachi, Pakistan.
8. Age not more than 32 years.
