Key Responsibilities
- Verify tax bills and oversee payment administration processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Process refunds and meticulously track and log assessment notices.
- Prepare Property Tax Returns in strict compliance with applicable regulations.
- Conduct reconciliation and quality control reviews of both personal work and that of peers to maintain high standards.
- Provide timely and proactive updates on work progress to liaison teams based in the US and India.
- Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities.
- Manage communications with Tax Jurisdictions and coordinate activities between offshore and onshore staff.
- Complete assigned tasks with a sense of urgency while maintaining confidentiality as required.
- Promote a positive team environment and actively contribute to a collaborative workplace culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or Business.
- 0-1 years of experience in US Taxation.
- Proficient computer skills, including intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with employees at all organizational levels.
