Our client is a rapidly expanding Financial and Tax Consultancy firm seeking a skilled Tax Executive with a minimum of two years of hands-on experience in taxation and routine tax compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing sales tax return filings with FBR and SRB, addressing tax notices, drafting appropriate responses, and handling daily tax-related tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file sales tax returns with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Sindh Revenue Board (SRB).
- Manage routine tax compliance and maintain accurate documentation.
- Review tax notices and queries from relevant authorities, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Draft replies and compile supporting documents for tax-related communications.
- Maintain comprehensive tax records and compliance files.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders on taxation matters.
- Stay informed about updates and changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Assist in resolving day-to-day tax and compliance issues promptly.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of practical experience in taxation.
- Proven experience in filing sales tax returns with FBR and SRB.
- Skilled in handling tax notices and drafting formal replies.
- Strong understanding of routine tax compliance requirements.
- Good knowledge of Pakistan’s taxation laws and regulatory environment.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with accounting tools is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Work schedule from Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
