Bilal Arsalan & Co. Chartered Accountants is seeking a dedicated Tax Executive to join their team in Karachi. This is a full-time position, not an articleship, intended for candidates with practical experience in Pakistan’s taxation system. The ideal candidate will have previously worked in a CA firm, tax consultancy, or professional services environment and be capable of independently managing routine tax compliance tasks. This role offers an opportunity for professionals aiming to build a long-term career in taxation, with potential growth into senior tax advisory and client management roles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns for individuals, Associations of Persons (AOPs), and companies.
- Preparation of Wealth Statements and Wealth Reconciliations.
- Utilization and working knowledge of FBR IRIS for tax filings.
- Preparation and submission of Sales Tax Returns.
- Management of Withholding Tax Statements and reconciliations.
- Preparation of accurate tax computations.
- Handling notices and correspondence with tax authorities, including drafting basic replies to FBR notices.
- Efficient use of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Coordination and follow-up with clients to ensure timely compliance and resolution of tax matters.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant tax experience in Pakistan.
- Educational background in B.Com, BBA, BS Accounting & Finance, M.Com, or an equivalent qualification.
- Proven hands-on experience in tax compliance and related assignments within a CA firm, tax consultancy, or professional services firm.
- Strong understanding of Pakistan’s tax laws and regulations, including income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments with minimal supervision.
