Tayyab Traders is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant and Data Entry professional to join our finance team. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and has at least two years of experience in accounting. This position focuses on managing daily accounts, maintaining ledgers, handling cash transactions, and ensuring high accuracy in data entry tasks. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll management is essential to support various accounting functions effectively. This role contributes significantly to maintaining financial accuracy and compliance within the company. This role does not involve team management but demands a professional attitude and strong organizational skills. The accountant is expected to handle accounts payable and receivable, general ledger reconciliation, bookkeeping, and invoice processing with precision. The candidate must demonstrate excellent data entry accuracy and a solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping principles. Through meticulous financial record-keeping, the position supports sound business decision-making and operational efficiency at Tayyab Traders.
Responsibilities

Maintain accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable records ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
Perform general ledger reconciliation to verify account balances and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Handle daily bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries, ledger postings, and bank statement reconciliations.
Ensure data entry accuracy by inputting financial transactions and records with attention to detail.
Process payroll accurately and in accordance with company policies and relevant regulations.
Manage invoice processing and verification to support accounts payable workflows.
Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis, reporting, and maintaining spreadsheets.
Adhere to double-entry bookkeeping standards to maintain balanced and compliant financial records.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements to support internal and external audits.
Handle cash transactions with utmost responsibility, maintaining proper documentation and controls.
Maintain confidentiality and security of financial data and records.
Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and resolve accounting queries.
