TCL Electronics Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Executive to manage and execute the payroll functions for its factory. This role is essential in ensuring that all employees receive accurate and timely compensation while strictly adhering to applicable labor laws and company policies. The successful candidate will handle payroll calculations, monitor attendance, maintain employee payroll records, and prepare essential payroll reports. They will also ensure compliance with taxation regulations and support employees by efficiently resolving payroll-related inquiries. This position demands strong proficiency in payroll software and data analysis tools to guarantee data accuracy and payroll integrity.
The Payroll Executive collaborates closely with Human Resources and Finance teams to synchronize payroll operations with overall company procedures. This role requires excellent analytical skills, accuracy in processing salary disbursements, and knowledge of factory workforce time management systems. Working independently without team management responsibilities, the Payroll Executive plays a pivotal role in maintaining operational efficiency and employee satisfaction within the manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Process payroll by calculating employee wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions accurately and within designated pay cycles, typically on a bi-weekly or monthly basis.
- Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date employee payroll records, including hours worked, attendance, leave applications, and any changes in employment status or benefits.
- Ensure compliance with all local and national labor laws, taxation rules, and company policies governing payroll, including proper recording and reporting of tax withholdings.
- Generate detailed payroll reports and analytics for senior management, highlighting payroll expenditures, discrepancies, and trends to inform decision-making.
- Handle employee payroll inquiries promptly and professionally, providing clarity on pay details, tax deductions, benefits, and addressing any discrepancies or concerns.
- Collaborate effectively with Human Resources and Finance departments to align payroll practices with recruitment, benefits administration, and financial reporting processes.
- Manage payroll software platforms by entering data, verifying accuracy, running payroll cycles, and maintaining data confidentiality and security within the system.
- Utilize attendance management systems such as biometric verification and time-tracking tools to validate employee attendance and integrate this data into payroll processing.
- Perform regular payroll reconciliations and data validations using spreadsheet tools like Excel to ensure data integrity and correct any inconsistencies.
- Stay current with changes in payroll regulations and software updates to continuously improve payroll processing efficiency and compliance.
- Support salary disbursement activities, coordinating with finance teams to ensure timely and accurate salary payouts for all factory employees.
- Conduct periodic audits of payroll processes and documentation to maintain accuracy, prevent errors, and support internal or external audits.
