Teacher- Methodologies of Prophet

Source Code Academia is looking for an experienced Islamic Studies teacher or scholar to lead a course on the Methodologies of the Prophets (منهج الأنبياء عليهم السلام). This course provides an in-depth analytical study of how the Prophets (AS) conducted Da'wah, initiated societal reforms, conveyed divine guidance, confronted moral and social corruption, established justice, and inspired faith-based transformation. The ideal candidate will help students move beyond simple historical narration to a comprehensive understanding of prophetic strategies and their relevance in today’s world.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver well-structured and academically rigorous lectures following the approved course outline.
- Explain Qur’anic narratives of the Prophets (AS) with a focus on their methodologies, reform strategies, approaches to Da'wah, and principles of societal transformation.
- Link prophetic stories to relevant Qur’anic verses and authentic Hadith, offering analytical insights rather than just recounting historical events.
- Emphasize lessons learned and contemporary applications of prophetic methodologies.
- Prepare lecture materials, presentations, reading resources, and assessments as required.
- Ensure academic accuracy by clearly differentiating between Qur’anic evidence, authentic narrations, scholarly interpretations, and historical context.
- Encourage student engagement through analytical discussions and critical thinking exercises.
- Complete all academic duties associated with the course.

Required Qualifications
- Dars-e-Nizami qualification.
- MS or MPhil degree in Islamic Studies or a closely related field.
- Strong academic expertise in Tafsir and Qur’anic Studies, especially regarding the Qur’anic accounts and methodologies of the Prophets (AS).
- Deep understanding of the Prophets’ approaches to Da'wah, individual and societal reform, leadership, justice, patience, governance, and faith-based transformation.
- Demonstrated ability to teach Islamic studies analytically and research-based rather than through mere narration of historical events.
- Proficient knowledge of relevant Qur’anic verses, authentic Hadith, classical Islamic scholarship, and contemporary academic literature.
- Prior teaching experience in Tafsir, Islamic Studies, Seerah, Qur’anic Studies, or related disciplines is essential.
- Excellent English communication and teaching skills.
- Ability to develop structured lectures, presentations, reading materials, and assessments.
- Strong research and academic writing capabilities.
- Skill in engaging students in analytical discussions that connect classical scholarship with contemporary issues.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- PhD in Islamic Studies, Qur’anic Studies, Tafsir, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience teaching online courses or remote classes is advantageous.
- Familiarity with major works on the stories and methodologies of the Prophets, such as *Qasas-ul-Quran* by Maulana Hifz ur Rahman Seoharvi (RA) and *Qasas al-Nabiyyin* by Syed Abul Hasan Ali Nadwi (RA), is a plus.
- Candidates with formal academic degrees (MA/MPhil/PhD) in Islamic Studies or recognized traditional Islamic scholarly training (Ijazah), combined with strong teaching and research experience, are encouraged to apply.

This position is ideal for educators who can guide students beyond the question “What happened to the Prophets?” to explore “How did the Prophets reform individuals and societies, and what principles can be drawn from their methodologies?” Applicants should have a keen interest in Tafsir, prophetic methodology, Da'wah, Islamic intellectual thought, and the analytical study of Qur’anic narratives.

Compensation: Rs 500.00 - Rs 600.00 per hour

Applicants will be asked to provide details about their academic background and experience in Tafsir, Islamic Studies, or the study of the Prophets (AS). They should also describe their comfort with research and preparation of academically structured materials, experience teaching adult or mature students, ability to teach analytically with a focus on prophetic methodologies, and knowledge of Qur’anic accounts from Adam (AS) to Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
