The Team Lead - Cloud Commerce will play a critical role in managing and optimizing cloud and software billing processes. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to design efficient billing workflows that minimize manual intervention. The role involves overseeing subscription details, billing terms, pricing, invoicing, and compliance to ensure accuracy and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of cloud services and billing systems, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external partners. This role operates during the hours of 8 PM to 5 AM PK Time.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the end-to-end cloud billing process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with relevant standards.
- Oversee the review, reconciliation, and generation of customer invoices using Dynamics 365, Customer Engagement (CE), and Finance and Operations (F&O).
- Monitor outstanding invoices, resolve discrepancies proactively, and support timely order closure.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of cloud service vendors, OEMs, and associated programs.
- Act as the primary contact for cloud and software billing inquiries.
- Collaborate with vendor representatives to stay updated on program changes, pricing models, and billing requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline billing operations and enhance efficiency.
- Partner with IT and development teams to automate repetitive tasks, reduce manual effort, and minimize errors.
- Establish and enforce best practices for billing operations.
- Generate and analyze billing reports, providing actionable insights to management.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the Cloud Billing team by setting goals, coaching, and supporting professional development.
- Ensure team readiness to handle complex billing scenarios through training and knowledge sharing.
- Maintain accurate billing documentation to support internal controls, regulatory compliance, and audits.
- Deliver responsive customer service, manage escalations, and resolve billing disputes professionally.
- Foster positive relationships with Sales, Finance, IT, business leaders, and external partners.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop long-term billing strategies and forecast revenue and cost trends.
- Stay informed about industry trends, cloud offerings, and billing best practices through continuous learning.
- Maintain at least 90% SLA performance and ensure 100% accuracy in deliverables.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent education, certifications, or relevant experience will be considered.
- Strong knowledge of cloud and software billing processes and tools, including Dynamics 365, CE, and F&O.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to mentor and motivate teams.
- Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions.
- Familiarity with accounting principles, financial regulations, and internal controls.
- Experience driving process improvements and automation initiatives.
