Team Lead Digital Billing

The Team Lead Digital Billing will oversee the accurate, timely, and controlled billing processes for Fixed, M2M, Cloud, and System Integration portfolios. Reporting directly to the Stream Head Billing and Invoicing, this role requires close collaboration with Sales, Finance, Product, and Technology teams to ensure seamless billing operations and revenue assurance.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the end-to-end monthly billing cycle for Fixed, M2M, Cloud, and System Integration services.
- Validate bill runs, usage data, tariffs, and contract inputs prior to invoicing to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure timely delivery of system-generated invoices and electronic bills to customers.
- Control and prevent missed billing, incorrect charges, duplicate invoices, and revenue leakage.
- Resolve billing queries, downtime claims, credit notes, and adjustments within defined SLAs.
- Reconcile billed revenue, taxes, and exceptions in coordination with the Finance department.
- Maintain billing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), audit trails, and approval controls.
- Drive initiatives for billing automation, data quality improvements, and system enhancements.
- Monitor billing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), open exceptions, and recurring issues.
- Escalate significant billing risks and ensure their timely resolution.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Information Systems.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in enterprise billing, invoicing, or revenue assurance functions.
- Strong proficiency in advanced Excel features such as formulas, PivotTables, and Power Query.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and data analysis techniques.
- In-depth understanding of enterprise billing, rating, charging, and revenue assurance processes.
- Familiarity with invoicing, tax compliance, reconciliation, and credit note controls.
- Ability to interpret complex contracts, tariffs, and product configurations accurately.
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Effective stakeholder management capabilities and discipline in month-end delivery cycles.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Experience with Fixed, M2M, Cloud, System Integration, or other B2B technology billing environments is highly desirable.
