Team Lead Digital Billing

The Team Lead Digital Billing will oversee accurate, timely, and controlled billing processes for Fixed, M2M, Cloud, and System Integration portfolios. Reporting to the Stream Head Billing and Invoicing, this role requires close collaboration with Sales, Finance, Product, and Technology teams to ensure seamless billing operations and revenue assurance. The ideal candidate will lead monthly billing cycles, validate billing data, and drive continuous improvements in billing automation and data quality.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage monthly billing for Fixed, M2M, Cloud, and System Integration services.
- Validate bill runs, usage data, tariffs, and contract inputs prior to invoicing.
- Ensure timely delivery of system-generated invoices and e-bills to customers.
- Control and prevent missed billing, incorrect charges, duplicate invoices, and revenue leakage.
- Resolve billing queries, downtime claims, credit notes, and adjustments within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Reconcile billed revenue, taxes, and exceptions in coordination with the Finance department.
- Maintain billing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), audit evidence, and approval controls.
- Drive initiatives for billing automation, data quality improvements, and system enhancements.
- Monitor billing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), open exceptions, and recurring issues.
- Escalate significant billing risks and ensure their timely resolution.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Information Systems.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in enterprise billing, invoicing, or revenue assurance.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including formulas, PivotTables, and Power Query.
- Strong skills in SQL and data analysis.
- Solid understanding of enterprise billing, rating, charging, and revenue assurance processes.
- Knowledge of invoicing, tax compliance, reconciliation, and credit note controls.
- Ability to interpret contracts, tariffs, and product configurations accurately.
- Excellent analytical judgment with keen attention to detail.
- Effective stakeholder management skills and discipline in month-end delivery processes.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience in Fixed, M2M, Cloud, System Integration, or other B2B technology billing is highly desirable.
