This role involves leading a sales team to achieve targets and drive business growth through effective management and coordination. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring team performance, ensuring excellent client service, and managing the sales pipeline. Collaboration with various departments such as Design, Supply Chain, and Installation is essential to ensure smooth order execution and timely delivery. Additionally, the role requires overseeing showroom operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and maintaining high standards of display. Continuous team development through coaching and training is a key aspect of this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate and track team sales targets, KPIs, and overall performance to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Drive achievement of sales targets by continuously evaluating team performance, providing coaching, and fostering professional development.
- Ensure professional client handling by delivering timely service and offering customized solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Manage the sales pipeline effectively, focusing on business development, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue.
- Monitor receivables, advances, and balance payments to ensure timely collection and maintain healthy cash flow.
- Coordinate with Design, Supply Chain, Installation, and other relevant departments to facilitate smooth order processing and delivery.
- Utilize tools such as HubSpot, SAP, and Power BI to monitor sales data and key performance indicators.
- Oversee showroom inventory management, including stock reconciliation, reorder levels (ROL), stock movement, packing, and conducting weekly audits.
- Maintain display management and visual merchandising standards to ensure 100% sellable display inventory.
- Prepare and maintain duty rosters while monitoring team performance through customer feedback and sales results.
- Collect and report customer feedback on products and services to inform continuous improvement.
- Train and develop new hires and existing team members to build a high-performing sales team.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4 to 6 years of relevant sales experience, including proven experience in team leadership roles.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP and CRM systems such as HubSpot is essential.
- Excellent coordination skills, especially in working with the Design Department and other internal teams.
