Team Leader - Agri - Consumer Banking Group - TJ / 1928648

Our client, The Bank of Punjab (BOP), one of Pakistan’s fastest-growing banks with over 35 years of strong presence, is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional for the position of Team Leader - Agri within the Consumer Banking Group, based in Lahore. Key Responsibilities

- Ensure sales and marketing of agriculture credit products, including government-subsidized schemes, in line with assigned targets.
- Drive marketing and procurement of deposits as per assigned goals.
- Manage collection and recovery of the assigned loan portfolio effectively.
- Initiate agriculture credit proposals and submit them to the relevant authorities for approval within the stipulated turnaround time (TAT).
- Liaise with the Credit Investigation Unit - Agriculture Credit Division (CIU-ACD) to resolve any anomalies identified in proposals.
- Coordinate the completion of post-approval formalities with agricultural clients and submit documentation to the Regional Credit Administration Department (RCAD) for issuance of Disbursement Authorization Certificates (DAC) within TAT.
- Work closely with RCAD for timely feeding of loan limits into the BOP system to facilitate loan disbursement.
- Conduct and submit periodic stock inspection and visit reports as per the Portfolio Performance Monitoring (PPM) and terms of approval, reporting to ACD.
- Initiate proposals for loan settlements and arrange the release of security documents accordingly.
- Ensure timely renewal and review of credit facilities, including arranging Renewal DACs.
- Oversee the timely renewal of insurances, valuations, and rectification of any deferrals or exceptions.
- Maintain proper file records and ensure good housekeeping standards.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the Unit Head of Non-Farm Sales or Head of Agriculture.
- Monitor and guide the team within the assigned hub to ensure individual and collective achievement of targets.
- Provide coaching, counseling, and hands-on support to staff working under his supervision.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university.
- 7 to 9 years of total professional experience, with at least 5 years in relevant banking roles preferred.
- Age limit up to 55 years as of November 8, 2026.
