Team Leader

The Team Leader role at the Islamabad store focuses on maintaining high standards of quality, product range, and freshness to attract customers and achieve sales targets. This position also ensures that exceptional customer service is consistently delivered within the assigned section.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor competitor activities including pricing, product range, and promotions to develop and implement strategies that maintain a competitive edge within the store’s catchment area.
- Ensure adherence to commercial pricing policies, optimize departmental profitability, and maximize the efficient use of assets and resources.
- Oversee product assortment and negotiate supplier promotions to maintain a competitive product offering aligned with customer expectations and business goals.
- Manage stock control by monitoring stock value and availability, preventing out-of-stock situations, and coordinating orders and merchandise deliveries.
- Implement initiatives to reduce waste and stock shrinkage while maintaining appropriate stock levels and operational efficiency.
- Ensure proper product displays, accurate pricing, planogram compliance, and visibility of new products throughout the department.
- Supervise merchandisers’ attendance and performance, enforce operational standards, and support the team in delivering excellent customer service.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, security, and hygiene standards, safeguard company knowledge, and effectively address customer queries and concerns.

Required Qualifications

- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a retail operations supervisory role.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
