This role is based in Karachi, Pakistan, and reports directly to the SVP - Sales & Support based in Dubai, UAE.

The Helpdesk Pre-Sales Engineer is responsible for maintaining solid technical understanding of products in conjunction with business benefits of the Vendor to be able to support Tech Access Sales. This position will also involve working together with the Vendor teams, TA Sales Managers, Products teams, Senior Presales and Partners to establish and understand the Customers’ requirements and to provide the necessary solutions.  The job will require occasional overseas travel for training purposes. The person will require to work on a roster system as agreed with the Helpdesk Manager to cater for different regions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • To provide quotations and architectures to TechAccess authorized partners in the region.
  • Actively providing  technical knowledge to steer Partners and ensuring business requirements have been met on the technology side, through excellent understanding across the product range and appreciation of cross-product impacts.
  • Maintaining an awareness of product positioning with the ability to compare Vendor  products with competitive products, as well as the ability to communicate the benefits of the Vendor to partners.
  • Assisting Sales in developing complex deals by identifying the appropriate Vendor solutions to meet the Customers’ requirements.
  • Helping to write RFPs, Tenders, Solution Write-ups and Competitive Analyses with the help of senior staff at TechAccess.Ability to place and process orders.
  • Company will ask to work on different products if necessary.
  • Product Certification and Training will be provided and needs to be completed on a regular basis.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Computing or Certificate, Computer Science will be an advantage.
  • 1-2  years technical experience of IT products and solutions.
  • The person will require a valid Passport.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office products such as MS Word and Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Strong Team player.
  • Fluency in English.
