Tech Trainee - AI

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Generative AI projects within a dynamic banking environment. Under the mentorship of senior technology professionals, you will contribute to developing innovative AI-powered solutions aimed at improving customer experience, operational efficiency, risk management, and decision-making processes. The position involves hands-on involvement in data-related activities, prototype development, and collaboration with diverse teams across technology, digital banking, operations, risk, compliance, and business units.

Key Responsibilities

- Participate actively in AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, and Generative AI initiatives, supporting project execution and delivery.
- Assist in designing and developing AI-driven solutions that enhance various banking functions including customer engagement and risk mitigation.
- Support data collection, cleansing, analysis, and visualization efforts to ensure high-quality inputs for AI models.
- Develop proof-of-concepts (POCs) and prototypes leveraging AI and automation technologies to demonstrate potential solutions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Technology, Digital Banking, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Business units to align AI initiatives with organizational goals.
- Assist in the development, testing, and validation of AI models and algorithms to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
- Conduct research on emerging AI trends, tools, and technologies relevant to the banking sector to keep the team updated with the latest advancements.
- Participate in hackathons, innovation challenges, and AI-focused learning programs to foster continuous improvement and creativity.
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation, presentations, and reports to communicate findings and progress to stakeholders.
- Ensure strict compliance with the bank’s data privacy, security, and regulatory standards throughout all project phases.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or Computer Engineering.
- Fresh graduates or professionals with up to one year of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
- Strong foundational knowledge in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science concepts.
- Basic proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with cloud-based AI services.
- Understanding of data engineering principles and experience with data visualization tools.
- Awareness of AI governance, responsible AI practices, and intelligent automation including Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
