We are looking for an experienced Technical Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing engineering and technical procurement requirements, evaluating technical specifications, and ensuring that procurement costs are competitive and reasonable compared to current market rates. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can assess various engineering disciplines and provide thorough technical audits to support informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

- Audit engineering and technical procurement requests across multiple disciplines, including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, civil, plumbing, fire & safety, and Building Management Systems (BMS).
- Review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), technical specifications, quotations, and cost estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct market price assessments and perform comparative analyses of materials, equipment, spare parts, and technical services.
- Verify vendor quotations against prevailing market rates to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Evaluate the technical compliance, quality, and suitability of proposed materials and equipment.
- Identify discrepancies, overpricing, unnecessary specifications, and other procurement risks.
- Prepare detailed technical audit reports with actionable recommendations for management approval.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in engineering, technical procurement, cost estimation, or technical auditing.
- Strong knowledge of engineering materials, equipment, market pricing, and vendor evaluation processes.
- Proven experience in preparing BOQs, comparative statements, and conducting technical cost analyses.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, reporting, and communication skills.

Work Location

This position requires in-person attendance at the designated work site.

Compensation

The monthly salary range for this role is Rs 1.00 to Rs 2.00 lakh.
