Technical Database Project Manager

We are looking for a Technical Database Project Manager to oversee and coordinate database-related projects within our organization. This role requires a blend of strong technical expertise in database systems and solid project management skills to ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of various database solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to manage projects such as migrations, upgrades, integrations, and new implementations, ensuring these initiatives align with both business objectives and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end project management of database initiatives, including migrations, upgrades, integrations, and new implementations. Work closely with database administrators, developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to facilitate efficient execution. Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring strict adherence to budget, scope, and schedule constraints. Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project success. Maintain data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations throughout the project lifecycle. Provide regular status updates and detailed reports to leadership and stakeholders. Facilitate clear and effective communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to foster collaboration and understanding. Utilize change management processes and project management tools, such as Microsoft Project, to maintain project control and documentation. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to manage diverse teams and stakeholders effectively.

Required Qualifications
Proven experience in managing database-related projects, including migrations, upgrades, and new implementations. Strong technical knowledge of database systems and associated technologies. Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, particularly Microsoft Project. Solid understanding of change management processes. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with technical and non-technical personnel. Ability to develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation. Experience in identifying and mitigating project risks. Knowledge of data security, integrity, and regulatory compliance standards.

This is a full-time position based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, within the IT Services sector. The salary range for this role is between 25 to 30 Lakhs per annum. Candidates with a strong background in technical project management and database systems are encouraged to apply.
