This role supports Snyder Tech USA by managing software development projects while helping shape BPS Tech’s own business strategy and culture locally. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in English, comfortable leading client interactions, and deeply involved in technical delivery from project inception through release. This position requires daily hands-on work within the project repository, utilizing AI tools to assist in planning, coding, testing, and communication, ensuring high-quality outcomes in collaboration with developers and AI agents.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients, leading discovery, planning, demos, and status meetings using AI to prepare and confirm decisions clearly in English.
- Translate client goals into well-defined scopes, milestones, technical tasks, acceptance criteria, and realistic estimates, leveraging AI to draft and refine project artifacts.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including plans, meeting notes, decisions, and follow-ups in the repository, using AI to organize and verify accuracy.
- Direct developers and AI agents through the delivery process by setting priorities, assigning ownership, conducting check-ins, removing blockers, and managing dependencies.
- Engage daily with the codebase, guiding AI tools to explore, implement, debug, test, and explain changes while personally contributing to development and process improvements.
- Review all outputs for technical correctness, alignment with client goals, security, maintainability, and test results before marking work as complete.
- Mentor developers, review pull requests, coordinate integration and releases, and uphold quality standards as AI increases team productivity.
- Provide clients with concise, accurate progress updates based on verified work, using AI to compile evidence without fabricating progress, and clearly explain technical trade-offs in business terms.
- Identify scope changes and delivery risks early, discussing options and impacts with clients and teams before committing to adjustments.
- Continuously improve AI-enabled development and project management processes to enhance reliability and delivery success.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent spoken and written English, capable of leading client meetings, explaining technical issues clearly, and producing effective written follow-ups independently.
- Strong proficiency with AI tools applied across project management and software development, including the ability to provide context, direct tasks, and detect errors or inaccuracies.
- Solid software development background with current technical skills to confidently navigate code repositories, understand architecture, review changes, and contribute to coding when needed.
- Demonstrated leadership ability or readiness to transition from senior developer to project leadership, including organizing work, making decisions, and holding team members accountable respectfully.
- Working knowledge of modern web applications, APIs, databases, Git workflows, testing methodologies, and release practices, with the ability to quickly learn new technology stacks.
- Good judgment regarding estimates, quality standards, client expectations, and escalation of issues.
- Availability to overlap regularly with U.S. Eastern Time business hours for meetings with clients and team members.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience in consulting or agency delivery environments and familiarity with cloud infrastructure are advantageous. There is no requirement for a specific degree or project management certification.
Applicants should submit a resume along with a brief description of a software project that demonstrates their technical expertise and leadership capabilities. The description should highlight how AI was used in the repository, personal verification or changes made, collaboration with developers and clients, and handling of difficult decisions or setbacks. Candidates transitioning from development to project leadership should explain their readiness for client-facing responsibilities.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a brief spoken-English screening by recording responses to questions about project and client communication scenarios.
