Technical Lead (Full Stack & AI)

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to take ownership of the architecture, quality, and delivery of our web applications. This role involves leading a team of developers while collaborating closely with Business Analysts and QA professionals. The ideal candidate will also guide the responsible integration of AI technologies within our development processes and products, ensuring innovation with proper controls.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of full-stack applications, ensuring high-quality and scalable solutions. Establish architecture and coding standards, enforcing them through thorough code reviews. Design and optimize both SQL and NoSQL databases, including advanced features such as stored procedures, materialized views, triggers, indexing, and connection pooling.

Develop and secure APIs using REST, SOAP, and GraphQL protocols, implementing security measures aligned with OWASP standards such as Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), JSON Web Tokens (JWT), and secure session handling. Optimize queries and code performance, and plan and execute load testing to ensure system reliability under stress.

Maintain comprehensive technical documentation to support development and operational activities. Manage and mentor the development team within an Agile/Scrum framework, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement. Work closely with Business Analysts and QA teams to align development efforts with business requirements and quality standards.

Define guidelines for AI-assisted development, integrating AI features with appropriate guardrails including prompt injection defense, token and cost optimization, and large language model (LLM) integration techniques such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and embeddings.

Required Qualifications

Proven expertise in full-stack development using technologies such as Node.js, Express, React, Next.js, PHP, and Laravel. Strong experience in designing and managing both SQL and NoSQL databases with advanced database features.

In-depth knowledge of API development and security protocols, including REST, SOAP, GraphQL, OWASP security practices, MFA, JWT, and secure session management. Demonstrated ability to implement AI-assisted coding practices with human review, ensuring safe and efficient use of AI tools.

Solid skills in query and code optimization, load testing, and maintaining technical documentation. Leadership experience managing development teams, collaborating effectively with Business Analysts and QA, and working within Agile and Scrum methodologies.

A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Experience with DevOps practices such as Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), Docker, and cloud environments is a plus. Familiarity with AI agents or integrations involving multi-component platforms (MCP) and tooling will be advantageous.
