Technical Lead

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Backend Developer with 4 to 8 years of experience to join our team in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Noida, or Vijayawada. This full-time or third-party engagement role requires flexibility to work in rotational shifts and participate in production support and on-call activities as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in B2C Commerce development, backend customization, and integrations, playing a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable eCommerce solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams across global locations is essential, along with hands-on experience in SFCC backend architecture, API integrations, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

SFCC Backend Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C Commerce).
- Develop and customize cartridges, controllers, jobs, hooks, pipelines, and business logic.
- Configure and manage catalogs, promotions, content assets, inventory, and site preferences.
- Implement reusable, scalable, and maintainable backend components.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to development standards.

API & Integration Development:
- Develop and support integrations between SFCC and enterprise applications.
- Work extensively with OCAPI, SCAPI, REST APIs, web services, and middleware platforms.
- Integrate SFCC with OMS, PIM, CRM, Payment Gateways, Tax Engines, Loyalty, and Marketing platforms.
- Troubleshoot and optimize API performance and system reliability.

Production Support & Operations:
- Provide L2/L3 production support for SFCC applications.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to applications, integrations, and environments.
- Participate in release deployments and post-production validation activities.
- Support critical business events and seasonal sales periods.
- Work in rotational shifts and on-call support models as required.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C Commerce) backend development and customization.
- Proficient in Server-Side JavaScript and strong knowledge of SFCC Business Manager.
- Experience with OCAPI, SCAPI, REST APIs, and web services integration.
- Solid understanding of catalog, pricing, promotions, inventory, and order management concepts.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Skills

- Experience with integration platforms such as MuleSoft or Dell Boomi.
- Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer Certification is a plus.
- Background in Retail and eCommerce domains.
- Exposure to AWS, Node.js, or microservices architecture.
- Understanding of SiteGenesis and SFRA architecture.
