Key Responsibilities

- Requirement Gathering: Participate actively in collecting and documenting clear, structured requirements for specific application modules. Collaborate across multiple business processes to identify linkages, dependencies, and necessary changes.

- Solution Design: Assist in developing application solution designs for assigned modules under the guidance of the Project Manager. Ensure that designs align with business needs and adhere to technical standards.

- Coding and Configuration: Review module-level code developed by the team, resolve technical queries, and establish consistent replication patterns. Work closely with project managers throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle to maintain code quality and compliance with project standards.

- Root Cause Analysis: Identify and troubleshoot recurring technical issues by performing detailed root cause analysis. Modify software code to fix errors, enhance performance, adapt to new hardware or software environments, and upgrade interfaces as needed.

- Implementation: Collaborate with technical teams to validate configurations and facilitate the integration of new applications. Manage dependencies during deployment and prepare comprehensive user training materials and frameworks to ensure smooth adoption and minimize transition risks.

Required Qualifications

- Proven experience of 5 to 8 years in application development and modernization, specifically with Mainframe technologies.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex issues.

- Experience working across multiple business processes and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.

- Familiarity with software development lifecycle processes and best practices.
