Technical Lead

SolutionsLoft is looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Technical Lead to join our expanding team based in Johar Town, Lahore. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in Java, MERN/MEAN stack, and React Native, and will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team to design and deliver scalable, secure, and modern web and mobile applications. This senior full-time role requires at least five years of practical software development experience combined with proven leadership skills. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of full-stack web and mobile applications. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers working across multiple technologies. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, estimate tasks, and define clear project roadmaps. Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of software quality and enforce best practices. Address complex technical challenges while guiding the team on performance optimization, scalability, and security considerations. Manage version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and maintain comprehensive project documentation. Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and adhere to the highest quality standards.

Required Qualifications
A minimum of five years of hands-on software development experience. Demonstrated leadership experience managing technical teams. Strong expertise in Java, particularly with Spring Boot for backend development. Proficiency in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React.js, Node.js) and solid experience with the MEAN stack (Angular in place of React). Extensive knowledge of React Native for cross-platform mobile application development. Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices. Familiarity with Git version control, Agile methodologies, and project management tools such as Jira or Trello. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure is considered a plus.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, and managing CI/CD pipelines. A good grasp of UI/UX principles and techniques for optimizing app performance. Knowledge of blockchain or fintech technologies will be advantageous.
