Technical Program Manager ( Asp.net and QA) Islamabad

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager with over 12 years of hands-on expertise in ASP.NET and Quality Assurance (QA). The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical foundation in ASP.NET/.NET application development, software architecture, and QA processes, combined with proven program management skills. This role requires leadership in software delivery, quality engineering, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful end-to-end project execution.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple technology programs from initial planning through to successful delivery. Provide technical leadership and guidance to ASP.NET/.NET development and QA teams. Review and influence technical architecture, application design, development practices, and implementation strategies. Oversee the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring quality standards, testing strategies, and release processes are established and maintained. Collaborate closely with development, QA, DevOps, product, and business teams to align objectives and deliverables.

Identify and mitigate technical risks, dependencies, resource needs, and delivery challenges. Manage program timelines, milestones, budgets, and overall deliverables while monitoring project progress to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in development, testing, automation, and deployment processes. Resolve complex technical issues related to ASP.NET/.NET applications and ensure appropriate QA methodologies are implemented across projects. Establish metrics and reporting mechanisms to track program health, quality, and delivery status. Communicate program updates, risks, and technical challenges effectively to senior management and stakeholders. Mentor technical leads, developers, QA engineers, and project teams to foster growth and alignment.

Required Qualifications
Over 12 years of experience in software development, QA, and technology delivery with strong hands-on expertise in ASP.NET/.NET and C# application development. Extensive knowledge of software quality assurance and testing methodologies, including both manual and automation testing. Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, Scrum, and modern software delivery processes. Experience with API testing, integration testing, regression testing, and performance testing. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, source control systems, and contemporary software development practices. Proficient in working with databases such as SQL Server. Ability to comprehend complex technical architectures and provide guidance to engineering teams.

Strong program and project planning skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple teams and technology initiatives simultaneously. Excellent stakeholder and client management capabilities, with a focus on risk and dependency management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical execution plans.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications will be considered an advantage. The ideal candidate is a senior technology professional who has evolved from a technical role in ASP.NET and QA into a program leadership position, capable of engaging with engineering teams on technical details while managing timelines, stakeholders, risks, and business objectives.

This position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs 700,000 to Rs 900,000. The role requires in-person work at the designated location.
