Technical Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Solar Project Manager to lead solar projects from initial design through implementation, commissioning, and post-implementation support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all phases of solar projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires close collaboration with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to deliver efficient and effective solar energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage solar projects end-to-end, overseeing all stages from design to handover while ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project execution and communication.
- Oversee and review solar system designs, single line diagrams (SLDs), bills of quantities (BOQs), and other technical documentation.
- Supervise vendors and installation teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Apply strong knowledge of hybrid solar systems, including their integration with the grid, battery storage, and backup systems.
- Coordinate site surveys, installation, testing, commissioning, and final handover activities.
- Manage troubleshooting efforts and address post-implementation requirements to ensure optimal system performance.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, quality, and deliverables, proactively addressing any issues that arise.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in solar project management or EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) within the renewable energy sector.
- Strong technical expertise in solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and hybrid solar solutions.
- Proven experience in managing vendors and maintaining client relationships effectively.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills to manage complex projects and diverse stakeholders.

Additional Requirements

- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed to oversee installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
