Technical Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Technical Project Manager to oversee our app development projects from initial discovery through to successful delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills combined with a solid technical understanding of software development. This role requires managing multiple complex application projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery within scope and quality standards, while maintaining excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead multiple application projects concurrently, managing Android, iOS, Flutter, and React Native apps from planning through deployment.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation in partnership with stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with clients to gather business requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
- Prepare comprehensive Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), project plans, user stories, and other technical documentation.
- Coordinate efforts among UI/UX designers, developers, backend engineers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Facilitate project kickoff meetings, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Proactively monitor project progress, identifying and resolving risks, blockers, and dependencies promptly.
- Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum methodologies throughout the development lifecycle.
- Manage project schedules and resource allocation using iQansoft’s project management systems.
- Review project deliverables and code quality to confirm they meet functional and quality standards before client delivery.
- Oversee application releases on various platforms, ensuring compliance with platform guidelines.
- Supervise testing processes, bug tracking, regression testing, and release management.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders by providing regular status updates, progress reports, and risk assessments.
- Assist with project estimation, budgeting, resource planning, capacity management, and profitability analysis.
- Ensure projects comply with security best practices, scalability requirements, and performance benchmarks.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices across project delivery.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience managing software or application development projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing Android, iOS, Flutter, and/or React Native application projects.
- Strong understanding of the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and app architecture.

Compensation and Location

This position is based in Islamabad with a monthly salary range of PKRs 225,000 to PKRs 250,000.
