We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead technology projects from initial planning through development, delivery, and deployment. The ideal candidate will combine strong project management skills with a solid understanding of software development, web technologies, APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and Agile methodologies. This role involves close collaboration with developers, designers, QA engineers, clients, and management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards. The position requires in-person work and a proactive approach to managing both technical teams and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and deliver technical projects from initiation to completion by defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and milestones. Coordinate with developers, designers, QA, and other technical teams to translate business and client requirements into clear technical tasks and project plans. Create and maintain project schedules, timelines, task assignments, and dependencies. Manage projects involving web development, mobile applications, APIs, CRM, AI/automation, and other software solutions.

Lead project kickoffs, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, review meetings, and retrospectives. Monitor project progress to ensure tasks are completed on schedule. Identify project risks, technical blockers, dependencies, and resource constraints, taking corrective action as needed. Communicate project status, risks, and progress to clients and senior management while managing client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

Collaborate with developers to understand technical requirements, architecture, integrations, and implementation challenges. Coordinate QA/testing, bug fixing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment, and post-launch activities. Ensure proper documentation of requirements, technical specifications, workflows, and project decisions. Track project scope to prevent unnecessary scope creep. Manage project resources and allocate team members effectively.

Utilize project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Asana, Trello, Monday.com, or similar platforms. Ensure projects follow Agile/Scrum or other appropriate development methodologies. Continuously improve project processes, workflows, communication, and delivery standards.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field. Three to five years of experience in technical or software project management with a proven track record of managing software/technology projects from planning through delivery. Strong understanding of software development processes and technical concepts. Experience working with cross-functional technical teams.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills. Proactive risk identification and resolution of project blockers. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools. Strong documentation and reporting capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information

A good working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), web development technologies, frontend and backend concepts, APIs, third-party integrations, databases, CRM systems, cloud platforms, Git/GitHub/GitLab, QA/testing, bug tracking, UAT, CI/CD, and basic DevOps concepts is highly desirable. Experience with AI/automation projects is a plus. Familiarity with PHP/Laravel, Python, JavaScript, React, Node.js, or similar technologies is advantageous.

While hands-on development is not required, the candidate must be technically proficient enough to engage in development discussions, identify project risks, and manage technical deliverables effectively. The ideal candidate will be technically aware, highly organized, proactive, and confident in managing both clients and technical teams. They should be able to understand developers’ work, challenge unrealistic timelines or requirements when necessary, identify risks early, and drive projects toward successful completion.
