Technical Recruiter

Hirestaff.ai, a global leader in talent acquisition and staffing solutions, is seeking a skilled Technical Recruiter to join our team supporting Canadian IT staffing needs. We specialize in connecting top-tier professionals with leading organizations across industries such as IT, Engineering, Healthcare, Life Sciences, ERP, Cybersecurity, AI, Cloud, and Digital Transformation. Our clients include Fortune 500 companies, public sector organizations, and government entities throughout Canada. This full-time role requires working onsite during the hours of 8 PM to 5 AM. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has hands-on experience recruiting technical talent within the Canadian market.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle from understanding requirements to onboarding new hires.
- Source, screen, interview, and qualify candidates for both contract and permanent IT roles.
- Recruit for a wide range of technologies and technical positions.
- Build and maintain pipelines of passive candidates using tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, Google X-Ray, and other sourcing methods.
- Conduct technical and behavioral pre-screening interviews to assess candidate fit.
- Negotiate compensation packages and manage candidate expectations throughout the hiring process.
- Prepare candidates thoroughly for client interviews to ensure success.
- Collaborate closely with Account Managers and clients to understand and fulfill hiring needs.
- Submit candidate profiles through Vendor Management System (VMS) and Managed Service Provider (MSP) portals, tracking submission status diligently.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms.
- Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly recruitment Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Required Qualifications:
- 1 to 2+ years of experience in IT recruitment, with a focus on Canadian clients.
- Proven ability to recruit technical professionals across multiple IT domains effectively.
- Proficiency in Boolean search techniques, LinkedIn Recruiter, Google X-Ray, and passive candidate sourcing strategies.
- Experience working with ATS and VMS platforms to manage candidate pipelines and submissions.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage both candidates and clients.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills and the ability to manage candidate expectations professionally.
