Technical Recruiter (US)

We are looking for a proactive Technical Recruiter to join our team and support international hiring efforts across the US, Canada, India, and LATAM regions. This role involves sourcing skilled technical professionals, building and maintaining candidate pipelines, managing talent databases, and engaging with candidates for current and future opportunities. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in technical sourcing or recruitment, strong English communication skills, and familiarity with various sourcing tools and international hiring practices.

Key Responsibilities

Global Technical Sourcing & Talent Mapping:
- Source technical talent across multiple regions including the US, Canada, India, and LATAM.
- Develop pipelines for roles such as Software Developers, QA Engineers, Project Managers, DevOps, Cloud Engineers, Data Engineers, and other IT professionals.
- Conduct market research using Boolean search techniques and platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn RPS, Indeed, Monster, and Dice.
- Engage both active and passive candidates to build relationships for future hiring needs.

Talent Pool Development & Database Management:
- Create and maintain organized talent pools segmented by skill set, experience, and location.
- Track key candidate information including skills, location, compensation expectations, availability, work preferences, and employment type.
- Ensure candidate records are accurate and up to date within ATS, CRM, or sourcing trackers.
- Follow up with candidates to confirm interest and availability while adhering to data privacy standards.

Collaboration with Recruitment & Account Teams:
- Work closely with recruiters to understand technical requirements and sourcing priorities.
- Identify suitable candidates from existing talent pools to meet hiring needs.
- Share comprehensive candidate profiles including skills, availability, location, and compensation expectations.
- Assist in targeted sourcing efforts for challenging or hard-to-fill roles.

International Market & Hiring Model Awareness:
- Develop a strong understanding of technical talent markets in the US, Canada, India, and LATAM.
- Gain knowledge of full-time employment and independent contractor (IC) hiring models.
- Familiarize with salary and contract rate structures, currencies, and regional pay practices.
- Maintain awareness of work authorization and sponsorship requirements relevant to target markets.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in technical sourcing, recruitment, or talent acquisition, preferably involving international markets such as the US, Canada, India, or LATAM.
- Proven experience sourcing candidates for technical roles including software development, QA, infrastructure, cloud, and data engineering.
- Proficiency with sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn RPS, Indeed, Monster, and Dice.
- Strong working knowledge of Boolean search techniques, candidate mapping, and passive candidate engagement strategies.
- Familiarity with candidate databases, ATS/CRM systems, and talent pipeline management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Location and Work Schedule
This position is based in Islamabad with hybrid working arrangements. The working hours are from 5:45 PM to 2:15 AM.
