The Broad-based Sales Manager will be instrumental in expanding Nordic’s market presence and enhancing the visibility of key projects across Nordic routes to market. Reporting directly to the Country Manager – India, this role is focused on driving partnerships, distribution, and partner sales to accelerate revenue growth within India. The position requires a strategic mindset to increase Nordic’s market share across various product categories while fostering strong relationships within the partner ecosystem. The ideal candidate will bring proven technical sales experience, preferably in the semiconductor industry, along with expertise in distribution management, negotiation, and communication. Success in this role depends on business acumen, analytical thinking, and the ability to translate complex technical challenges into compelling customer solutions, all while maintaining a proactive and collaborative approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain strategic, influential relationships with senior-level partners to secure their support for Nordic within the assigned territory.
- Partner with distributors and resellers to drive marketing initiatives aimed at lead generation and boosting market awareness of Nordic’s product portfolio.
- Collaborate closely with Nordic’s internal business units to improve sales tools and resources, enabling partners to capture broader market opportunities.
- Engage with partner sales teams, including account managers and field application engineers, to identify, negotiate, and close business opportunities.
- Track and report partner point-of-sale (POS) performance against budget and year-over-year targets, including opportunity pipelines, design wins, and key challenges or highlights.
- Lead quarterly business reviews with partners to evaluate past performance against KPIs and set objectives for upcoming periods.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Proven track record in technical sales, ideally within the semiconductor sector.
- Strong expertise in distribution sales, development, and management, complemented by excellent presentation, business, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with wireless technologies and cloud/software services.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
