This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of computer hardware and peripherals to ensure smooth and efficient IT operations. The individual will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, coordinating with vendors for defective products, and recommending system upgrades. Key Responsibilities
- Install and perform minor repairs on computer hardware and peripherals to maintain optimal functionality.
- Identify and send problematic or defective hardware products to vendors for repair or replacement.
- Test computers and verify that hardware and software installations are correctly configured and operational.
- Maintain and troubleshoot computer systems, promptly identifying and resolving any issues that affect system performance.
- Manage the maintenance and upgrading of computer systems and other IT equipment, providing recommendations for improvements and upgrades.
- Ensure timely resolution of problems based on priority levels, taking appropriate measures to minimize downtime and disruptions.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in computer hardware installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with testing procedures for computer systems and software installations.
- Ability to manage vendor relationships for hardware repairs and replacements.
