Key Responsibilities

- Incident Management: Handle and manage basic to moderate production support tasks, including incident resolution and escalation to higher support levels when necessary.
- Problem Management: Identify root causes of issues by leveraging your understanding of applications, their functionality, and underlying technologies to provide effective solutions.
- Change Management: Plan and implement changes to production processes while minimizing service disruptions.
- Monitoring Production Processing: Continuously oversee production environments to detect and address potential issues proactively, preventing incidents before they occur.
- ITIL Framework Adherence: Ensure all support activities comply with ITIL best practices, maintaining high standards in incident, problem, and change management processes.

Required Qualifications

- Database Management Knowledge: Familiarity with database concepts such as data modeling, normalization, and querying techniques.
- Operating System Experience: Hands-on experience with various operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Programming Skills: Exposure to multiple programming languages, understanding syntax, data types, and control structures.
- ITIL Framework Understanding: Knowledge of ITIL processes related to incident, problem, and change management.
- Production Support Experience: Proven ability to perform and manage production support tasks, including monitoring and escalating issues appropriately.

Preferred Qualifications

- Advanced Database Skills: Experience with advanced database concepts such as data warehousing, ETL processes, and performance tuning is advantageous.
- Scripting Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell to automate routine tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
- Cloud Platform Familiarity: Understanding of cloud environments, including deployment, scaling, and security considerations, to better support production systems.
