Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Maintenance Officer with a Diploma of Associate Engineering in Electrical/Electronics to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of our building's electrical systems, including UPS, CCTV, and AC, as well as have a working knowledge of generators and elevators.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive maintenance on all building electrical systems, including UPS, CCTV, and AC
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical system problems and perform repairs as necessary
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
- Work closely with other building maintenance staff to ensure all systems are functioning properly
- Assist in the installation of new electrical systems and equipment as required
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations
- Participate in regular safety training and maintain a safe work environment
- Respond to emergency calls and perform repairs as necessary
- Maintain an inventory of all electrical equipment and supplies
- Work with outside vendors and contractors as needed
Requirements:
- Diploma of Associate Engineering in Electrical/Electronics
- At least 3 years of experience in building maintenance, with a focus on electrical systems
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including UPS, CCTV, and AC, as well as generators and elevators
- Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
