As part of the EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) TechOps team, the SAP CO Senior Consultant will provide expert functional support for SAP Controlling (CO) across multiple regions. This role involves working closely with global clients to enhance financial controlling processes by resolving issues, implementing improvements, and driving automation and innovation. EY’s GDS network spans ten locations worldwide, offering consulting, assurance, tax, strategy, and knowledge services that support EY’s growth agenda. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver day-to-day application management support for SAP CO, including incident resolution, service requests, change management, and problem management at Level 2 or Level 3.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex controlling issues such as allocation cycle failures, period-end closing challenges, settlement errors, and CO-PA reporting inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, identify challenges, and recommend SAP CO solutions and process enhancements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including configuration details, process flows, knowledge articles, user guides, and test scripts.
- Support enhancements related to cost allocations, planning, profitability analysis, cost center accounting, internal orders, and controlling reports.
- Monitor controlling processes to ensure optimal system performance, compliance, and business continuity.
- Mentor and train junior team members by sharing best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide off-hours support to maintain system availability and reliability.
- Manage resource allocation, supervise team members, assign tasks, and optimize team performance to align with organizational goals.
- Work flexibly across shifts to support clients in Australia, Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology (B.E./B.Tech), Commerce/Finance (B.Com, M.Com), MBA (Finance), CA, ICWA/CMA, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3-7 years of experience in SAP CO, preferably supporting global clients.
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP CO modules including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Cost Controlling, Profitability Analysis, Activity-Based Costing, Planning & Budgeting, and related controlling processes.
- Experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Controlling solutions.
- Solid understanding of managerial accounting, cost allocation methodologies, budgeting, profitability reporting, and financial controlling processes.
- Ability to work independently in time-sensitive environments with excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in offshore/onsite delivery models and cross-functional communication.
- Flexibility to manage shift work and on-call availability for critical business needs.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- SAP Certification in SAP CO, SAP S/4HANA Management Accounting, or related finance certifications is preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP CO integration with FI, MM, SD, PP, PM, PS, and HR modules.
- Familiarity with planning cycles, allocations, month-end and year-end closing activities, product costing, and management reporting.
