Seeking an Application Architect SaaS web application. The position is based in Islamabad and offers an exciting opportunity to build a product that is used by multiple Fortune 100 companies worldwide.
- Analyze requirements of new products/services and design thoughtful architecture keeping the core and architectural requirements in mind
- Analyze architecture of existing products/services and suggest minimal amount of changes resulting in greater impact on overall quality of products/services
- Communicate the architecture using clear and concise diagrams, workflows, macro designs
- Lead and guide development teams through designed architecture and best development practices required to achieve most out of the architecture
- Review the development process to ensure the development teams are properly following defined practices
Person Specification:
- At least 8 years of professional experience with a reputable organization preferably multinational—minimum 2 years as Application Architect
- Good understanding of Architectural Quality Attributes
- Good hands-on of coding the architecture especially NodeJS, micro/event services/SOA, REST API, and dockerization/Quay.io
- Lead design and implementation of mobile solutions (+ API) and Salesforce applications
- Deep understanding of prominent and latest software frameworks
- Ideal candidate brings a wealth of in-depth hands-on expertise and learning experiences with specialized skillsets in the areas of object pooling, caching, resource contention management, database persistence, threading, state management, and overall best practice service design.
- Good understanding of infrastructural elements (cloud, network, storage) to suggest the best configuration for deployment of components described in architecture
- Well versed with design patterns and anti-patterns in practice
- Deep understanding of SOA and best practices to implement SOA in enterprises
- Up-to-date in IT industry and trends
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence, Big Data, and Data Warehousing with architectural perspective to design architectures unique to the relevant area
- Must be self-motivated and detailed oriented
- Fluency in English for communication with remote teams.
