- Manage all the relevant tasks related to the remittance like Letter of Credit, Bank Contract and/or Telegraphic Transfer for the import of goods.
- To ensure that the Marine Insurance is done in a timely manner.
- To ensure that the mandatory requirements of Banks for L.C & Contract opening are addressed timely.
- Fill out import documentation, compile carrier and route assignments, compute international fees for each shipment.
- Provide service to internal departments and overseas suppliers.
- Maintain import data and verify information accuracy.
- Receiving, formulating and verifying the required documents needed to make sure that the needs/regulations of the organizational bodies are adhered to.
- Should have a clear understanding regarding various rules, policies and programs of customs and should keep himself/herself updated with the changes.
- Partner with suppliers and inventory planners and ensure accurate movement of all international goods and ensure arrival of goods within required timeframe.
- Track shipments and communicate with suppliers about the shipment's progress.
- Coordinate with customs agents for clearance.
- Negotiate cost for ground and ocean tariffs for maximum financial gain, and handle claims with insurance companies if any shipment problem happens to occur.
- Gather, analyze and prepare information related to the Landed Cost.
- Timely submission of EDB Data to the regulatory bodies.
- Any additional responsibilities as assigned by the Management.
