Teka Detailer

Metallic Solutions, a leading designer and manufacturer of pre-engineered buildings, steel structures, storage tanks, conveyors, elevators, and related industrial systems, is seeking a skilled Teka Detailer to join their team in Kasur. This role involves working closely with engineering and production teams to ensure high standards of quality, safety, and performance from project inception through completion.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed shop and erection drawings for steel structures and associated components by accurately interpreting engineering designs.
- Review and verify drawings for accuracy, including dimensions, connection details, and material lists, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with design engineers, production staff, and project managers to clarify design requirements, resolve drawing discrepancies, and update documentation as needed.
- Support fabrication and installation teams by providing clear, complete, and timely technical information.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation for multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.

Required Qualifications
- Proficient in technical drawing and detailing for steel structures, with experience using CAD or other detailing software to produce precise shop and erection drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and mechanical engineering plans, specifications, and standards relevant to pre-engineered buildings, storage tanks, conveyors, and elevators.
- Strong attention to detail in checking dimensions, connections, material lists, and fabrication requirements to ensure compliance with safety and project standards.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to work collaboratively with engineers, production staff, and project managers, including the ability to clarify requirements and resolve design issues.
- Basic understanding of steel fabrication processes, construction methods, and quality control practices commonly used in industrial and commercial projects.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in civil, mechanical, or structural engineering, drafting, or a related field. Prior experience as a detailer in steel structures or pre-engineered buildings is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously and maintain accurate documentation.
