Metallic Solutions, a leading designer and manufacturer specializing in pre-engineered buildings, steel structures, storage tanks, conveyors, elevators, and related industrial systems, is seeking a skilled Teka Detailer to join their team in Kasur. The company is committed to delivering durable, efficient, and cost-effective solutions across a variety of industrial and commercial projects. The Teka Detailer will play a crucial role in preparing detailed drawings and documentation for steel structures, ensuring that all designs meet project specifications and industry standards from concept through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret engineering designs and create precise shop and erection drawings for steel structures and related components.
- Coordinate closely with design engineers, production teams, and project managers to clarify requirements, resolve drawing issues, and update documentation as necessary.
- Review drawings for accuracy, including checking dimensions, material lists, and connection details to ensure compliance with project and safety standards.
- Support fabrication and installation processes by providing clear, complete, and timely technical information.
- Collaborate with engineering and production staff to maintain quality, safety, and performance standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in technical drawing and detailing for steel structures, with experience using CAD or detailing software to produce clear and accurate shop and erection drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and mechanical engineering plans, specifications, and standards relevant to pre-engineered buildings, storage tanks, conveyors, and elevators.
- Strong attention to detail when checking dimensions, connections, material lists, and fabrication requirements to ensure full compliance with project and safety guidelines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work efficiently with engineers, production staff, and project managers, including the ability to clarify requirements and resolve design issues.
- Basic understanding of steel fabrication processes, construction methods, and quality control practices commonly applied in industrial and commercial projects.
- Relevant technical diploma or degree in civil, mechanical, or structural engineering, drafting, or a related field. Prior experience as a detailer in steel structures or pre-engineered buildings is advantageous.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate documentation.
