Job Description: Ideal candidate should have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science with 3 – 4 years programming experience. Preferably have worked as a Developer in a team based environment and have strong concepts in object oriented programming.
He/She should also have knowledge of standards for application development with focus on performance & quality. He/she will be responsible for
- Design and develop software application based on the description of business logic in various software languages
- Deliver projects on-time and to specification with an appropriate level of quality
- Collaborate with product managers, customers and prospects to gather and define requirements
- Develop automated functional tests
- Carry out tasks and produce required results with minimal supervision
- Analytical & Problem solving skills
- Good written and verbal English communication skills
- Experience of working in an offshore software development environment is a plus
Required Skills:
The candidate must have expertise in developing n-tier applications using PHP frameworks and have the experience of working on the following technologies:
- 3-4 years of working experience in PHP frameworks - CodeIgnitor, CakePHP and Zend
- Familiarity with design patterns and MVC Architecture
- Knowledge of MySQL, Java Script, JQuery, HTML, Ajax, WordPress and Joomla
- Demonstrated ability to analyze technical requirements and develop well-structured code
- Solid understanding of OOP concepts with strong analytical and problem solving skills
