Key Responsibilities
Requirement Analysis and Documentation: Develop detailed technical requirement documents based on client inputs gathered through discussions and demonstrations. Ensure clarity and completeness to support subsequent testing activities.
Creation of Test Cases: Design comprehensive test cases aligned with functional requirements, ensuring thorough test coverage across multiple modules. Focus on validating all aspects of system functionality.
Test Data and Environment Setup: Collaborate with client stakeholders to create data validation scenarios and establish the necessary test environments. Ensure environments are configured correctly to support effective testing.
Test Execution and Result Analysis: Conduct functional and regression testing to identify defects and verify system behavior. Document test results meticulously, prepare test evidence, and compile test review documents.
Defect Management: Log defects accurately in the test management tool and update their status throughout the defect lifecycle, facilitating clear communication and resolution tracking.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with 3 to 5 years in software testing and quality assurance.
- Strong ability to analyze requirements and translate them into detailed test cases.
- Experience in setting up test environments and managing test data.
- Proficiency in executing functional and regression tests, defect logging, and test documentation.
- Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
