Product Content Writer & eCommerce Product Listing Expert

Texas Lab Technologies is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Product Content Writer & eCommerce Product Listing Expert to manage and develop product content for our laboratory equipment and scientific supplies eCommerce platform.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in creating, uploading, editing, and managing eCommerce product listings, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with large volumes of technical product information.

• Create clear, accurate, professional, and persuasive product descriptions for laboratory and scientific equipment.
• Create, upload, edit, and maintain product listings through our Content Management System (CMS).
• Review technical specifications and convert manufacturer or supplier information into well-structured, customer-friendly product content.
• Ensure product titles, descriptions, specifications, features, images, categories, and metadata are complete and consistent.
• Organize products into appropriate categories and subcategories to improve website navigation and customer experience.
• Optimize product titles, descriptions, keywords, metadata, and other on-page content for SEO and search visibility.
• Continuously review and improve existing product listings for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and conversion performance.
• Maintain consistent formatting, terminology, tone, and brand standards across thousands of product pages.
• Identify missing, duplicated, inaccurate, or outdated product information and correct it.
• Work closely with product, eCommerce, SEO, and marketing teams to ensure product information remains accurate and competitive.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in eCommerce content writing, product listing, product content management, or a similar role.
• Strong experience working with CMS/eCommerce platforms and managing large product catalogues.
• Excellent written English, grammar, proofreading, and editing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately with technical specifications and data.
• Good understanding of SEO, keywords, metadata, product categorization, and on-page optimization.
• Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of product listings efficiently.
• Experience with laboratory, scientific, medical, industrial, or other technical products would be highly advantageous.

This is a full-time, hands-on position for someone who can take ownership of product content and help Texas Lab Technologies build a comprehensive, accurate, SEO-friendly, and professional eCommerce catalogue.

• Create and upload comprehensive product listings, including titles, detailed descriptions, specifications, and corresponding images to provide complete and informative product information.
• Write clear, concise, and persuasive product descriptions tailored to laboratory equipment and supplies to attract and convert prospective buyers.
• Ensure all product content maintains accuracy, is standardized to brand guidelines, and presents technical information clearly and consistently.
• Optimize product pages for search engine optimization by incorporating appropriate keywords, crafting meta descriptions, and structuring content for enhanced visibility.
• Organize and update product categories, tags, and attributes regularly to improve navigation and overall user experience on the eCommerce platform.
• Collaborate effectively with product management and marketing teams to stay informed of new launches, updates, and market trends, ensuring listings remain current and competitive.
• Review and revise existing product content periodically to improve clarity, correct inaccuracies, and enhance content performance across platforms.
• Manage large volumes of product data efficiently while maintaining high standards for detail, accuracy, and readability.
• Utilize content management systems (CMS) proficiently to upload, edit, and manage product information securely and systematically.
• Monitor content performance metrics and suggest improvements to increase engagement and drive sales conversions on product pages.
