Textile CAD Designer

The Textile CAD Designer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lahore. The primary responsibility is to develop detailed fabric patterns and repeats using computer-aided design tools, preparing designs that are production-ready. This position requires close coordination with designers and production teams to align creative concepts with manufacturing capabilities, ensuring smooth execution from design to finished product.

Key Responsibilities
- Create and refine technical drawings and detailed fabric patterns using CAD software.
- Prepare construction drawings tailored for textile applications.
- Collaborate with design, production, and merchandising teams to ensure design feasibility and quality.
- Adjust and modify designs based on feedback from various stakeholders.
- Maintain organized digital libraries of design files and ensure all CAD work meets quality standards and technical specifications.
- Support the production process by providing accurate and clear design documentation.

Required Qualifications
- Strong skills in drawing and technical drawing for accurate visual representation of textile designs.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for creating, modifying, and managing digital textile patterns and layouts.
- Knowledge of construction drawings and design engineering to translate creative concepts into production-ready specifications.
- Experience with industry-standard textile CAD software such as NedGraphics, Texcel, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of print and weave design processes is advantageous.
- Diploma or degree in Textile Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Prior experience in textile or fashion CAD design is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong color sense, and pattern development skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
