AKHS, P is looking for a dynamic young professional with skills in data management and analysis. The individual will help establish rigorous data collection, validation, and analysis systems that will inform evidence-based decision making for public health programming. The incumbent will establish regular data reporting and sharing mechanisms allowing managers to monitor program progress, improve operations, and assess impact of various strategies. S/he will work with various levels of the health system and AKHS, P program and operational teams to design data tools, data flow and reporting mechanisms that reach decision makers in real time. S/he will work closely with program and IT teams to integrate new systems with existing data systems for maximum cross validation and impact.
The Data Officer will lay the foundation for evidence-based programming and implementation.

Education, Experience & Competencies
A dynamic, dedicated, and hard-working individual with the ability to innovate and problem solve. Strengths in building relationships and working in teams to deliver consistently. Strong skills in data collection, cleaning, validation, analysis, and reporting including the use of key programs such as MS Excel, SPSS, SQL, R programming, ArcGIS and knowledge of data visualization tools Power BI.
§ Masters in Statistics, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, or related field
