Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for competent Senior HMIS Officer in Chitral Region

HMIS Responsibility

  • Work as a functional consultant of Health Information System (HIS) and deploy it in the region in coordination with IT Team and provide ongoing support to the end users and improve the HIS data.
  • Implement quality checks to ensure validated HIS data should be shared with the internal and external stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Automate the manual data collection process and reporting by using different tools.
  • Conduct an orientation and refresher session on HIS for new and existing staff.
  • Provide an analytical report, dashboard, and graphical presentation to the management for informed decision making as per agreed timeline.
  • Facilitate operation team in the budget making process & reporting and new service opening
  • Maintain log of data discrepancy and implement controls to overcome them.
  • Ensure compliance of HMIS policies and procedures.
  • Compilation and reporting of programmatic data:
  • Outreach clinics of CHCs and BHCs
  • Palliative care and ECD report
  • PPP facilities and submission to DOH and Health Foundation on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • quality indicators of clinical units
  • Review DHIS reports and provide support to the unit for proper reporting.
  • Develop different HMIS tools for monitoring of routine activities and new initiatives
  • Provide data to the management for writing reports, concept paper, and proposal development.

Digital Health Responsibility

  • Organize and promote tele-consultation clinics in the region
  • Develop doctor schedule for tele consultation clinics (Hub to spoke and Mobile -Elaj Asan) in coordination of operation and central team.
  • Ensure technology arrangements before tele consultation clinics and eLearning sessions which include connectivity, hardware, and software.
  • Get feedback from Patient and Doctor about the digital health services
  • Act as resource person for admin, unit clerk, and pharmacist whenever required in Elaj Asan
  • Develop report for monitoring performance of digital health services
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to communicate issues and performance.
  • Track issues and solve it.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on digital health activities and share it with supervisor and the management as per the defined templates.
  • Implement and provide support to all digital health applications
  • Monitor and compliance the SoPs of digital health.
  • Coordinate closely with multiple teams and management to make digital initiatives successful
  • Act as a technology expert for digital health projects
  • Ensure regulatory compliance related to digital health activities
