Grade: Band-7/ Band-5

Location: Lahore

Job Responsibilities:

Effectively manage and supervise the Bank's LEA portfolio, including NAB, FIA, Anti-Corruption, Court Orders, judicial/quasi-judicial matters, and other LEAs as assigned by the Head LEA / Chief Legal Officer.
Protect the rights and interests of the Bank by ensuring appropriate, timely, and legally sound responses to notices, inquiries, investigations, and proceedings initiated by LEAs.
Review and provide legal input/opinions on LEA notices, inquiries, and investigations to relevant departments, including OG and CCG, and provide clear instructions regarding sharing of information, records, and documents with LEAs in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Supervise the drafting and vetting of letters, notices, replies, statements, briefs, and other legal documents pertaining to FIA, NAB, Anti-Corruption, and other LEAs.
Coordinate with and monitor external counsels to ensure timely attendance, appearance, and recording of statements of Bank officials before LEAs, judicial, and quasi-judicial forums.
Monitor the presence and performance of Managers / Law Officers and relevant Bank officials before LEAs to ensure effective follow-up, particularly in matters relating to registration of FIRs and initiation/progress of criminal proceedings.
Supervise and monitor matters relating to fraud, embezzlement of funds, digital banking fraud, parallel banking, and other financial crimes, and provide appropriate legal input and case-specific briefs.
Ensure effective follow-up for registration of FIRs, criminal proceedings, investigations, recovery of Bank's funds, and protection of the Bank's legal interests.
Review and supervise preparation of briefs and legal opinions on complex LEA matters and provide guidance to team members in handling sensitive or high-value cases.
Monitor the overall workload, pending matters, statutory/regulatory timelines, and deliverables of the assigned LEA team and ensure timely completion.
Provide regular status reports, significant developments, risk areas, and escalations to the Head LEA.
Appear before LEAs, judicial, and quasi-judicial forums, where required, to safeguard the Bank's rights and interests.
Provide assistance to the Head LEA / Chief Legal Officer in strategic, complex, and high-risk LEA matters.

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s degree from HEC recognized institute / foreign university. Candidates having a Master Degree shall have preference.

Experience: Minimum 06 years of experience with knowledge in Banking laws.

Age: Up to 55 years as of September 10, 2026.
