Location: Karachi

Grade: Band-5 to Band-3

Major Responsibilities:

Ensure timely and accurate settlement of interbank deals and all necessary accounting entries are passed in the system accurately.
Ensure vetting of all FX interbank deals and accurate settlement of inter-branch deals.
Ensure proper record keeping and settlement of maturities.
Check deal confirmation and payment messages in SWIFT and delivery to the SWIFT department. Upload SWIFT messages in STP.
Ensure accurate compilation of foreign currency deposits and foreign currency cash on hand position reported by the branches.
Transfer and receipt of funds to maintain the cash reserve and special cash reserve with the State Bank of Pakistan, Karachi as directed by the front office.
Transfer of funds to the ACU Dollar Account of our bank through the State Bank of Pakistan, Karachi as directed by the front office.
Transfer and receipt of funds to the USD clearing account.
Compile FCY unclaimed deposit statements and transfer of funds to the State Bank of Pakistan, Karachi.
Check utilization of FE-25 Deposit, break-up of FE-25 Deposit, and FCTRS.
Ensure timely and accurate recovery of service charges from the branches.
Prepare the currency-wise net open position and exchange position and MIR.
Ensure that all rates given by the front office (inter-branch deals) to the branches are reported and taken into account by the Treasury Operations.
Check the maturity portfolio of forward deals and foreign bills purchased and forward booking.
Check the trade loan portfolio.
Check the computer-generated reports and prepare the Management Information Reports.
Minimize objections and compliance of objections raised by external internal and SBP auditors.
Manage Islamic banking forex transactions, cash reserve, deposits, service charges, etc., and manual reports.
Authorize data upload in Flexcube and mark day end.
Responsible for grooming and training of TROPS staff, ensuring adequate development of staff backup.
Ensure timely completion of own and staff training on the bank’s HR portal.
Timely update of manuals/SOP based on updated regulatory institutions and bank’s internal policies.

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s or equivalent degree from an HEC recognized local/foreign university.
Experience: Minimum 09 to 12 years of banking experience. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience.
Age: Up to 55 years as of September 18, 2026.
