The Educators Surjani Town Campus is seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to educate and inspire students in grades 9 and 10. Although this role does not include managing a team, collaboration with colleagues and participation in professional development are valued. The successful candidate will contribute to the academic goals of The Educators Surjani Town Campus by promoting mathematical problem-solving and critical thinking skills among students.
Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans tailored to grade 9 and 10 mathematics curriculum standards.
  • Use classroom management strategies to maintain a respectful and productive learning environment.
  • Incorporate educational technology tools and classroom organization software to enhance instructional delivery.
  • Explain complex mathematical concepts clearly and effectively to promote student understanding.
  • Engage students through various instructional techniques to sustain interest and participation in learning.
  • Assess student performance regularly through quizzes, tests, and assignments, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Adapt teaching methods based on assessment results and individual student needs to improve learning outcomes.
  • Employ behavior management techniques to address and prevent classroom disruptions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop instructional materials and share best teaching practices.
  • Participate in faculty meetings and continuous professional development activities to stay current with educational trends and methodologies.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, evaluation, and progress as per school policies.
  • Communicate with students and guardians regarding academic achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills through the design of engaging mathematical problems and activities.
