PKR. 500,000 - 500,000/Month

Company: Emissary
Position: Appointment Setter / Lead Generation Specialist
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Remote
Base Salary: PKR 50,000 per month
Performance Compensation: Paid in USD

The compensation package includes:

  • PKR 50,000 monthly base salary

  • $10 USD for every qualified appointment that attends the scheduled call

  • $50 USD for every deal successfully closed from your appointments

  • Additional performance incentives may be introduced for consistently exceeding targets

The appointment must be properly qualified and must attend the scheduled call for the $10 showed-appointment payment to apply.

The $50 closed-deal commission applies when a prospect sourced and booked by the Appointment Setter becomes a paying client.

Emissary is a digital marketing and Conversion Rate Optimization agency that helps e-commerce businesses increase revenue through Shopify development, conversion-focused design, landing pages, paid advertising, email and SMS marketing, and CRO strategy.

We work with established brands and business owners who are actively looking to improve their marketing performance, conversion rates, customer acquisition, and online revenue.

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Appointment Setter who can consistently speak with prospects, qualify opportunities, book appointments, manage follow-ups, and maintain an organized sales pipeline.

This is not a beginner-level customer service position. The successful candidate must be comfortable making calls, handling objections, following up persistently, and communicating with business owners in a professional and confident manner.

The Appointment Setter will be responsible for contacting leads, starting conversations, qualifying prospects, and booking sales appointments for the agency’s closers.

You will communicate with prospects through:

  • Cold calls

  • Warm calls

  • Follow-up calls

  • Email

  • SMS

  • LinkedIn

  • Social media direct messages

  • CRM follow-up sequences

Your primary goal is to create a consistent pipeline of qualified prospects who attend their scheduled sales appointments.

You will not simply place appointments on the calendar. You must ensure that each prospect understands the purpose of the meeting, meets our qualification requirements, and is genuinely interested in discussing our services.

Core Responsibilities

Cold Calling and Outbound Prospecting

  • Make a high volume of outbound calls to prospective clients.

  • Contact e-commerce brands, Shopify store owners, founders, executives, and marketing decision-makers.

  • Introduce the agency and clearly explain the value of its services.

  • Follow approved scripts while maintaining a natural and professional conversation.

  • Ask discovery questions to understand the prospect’s business, challenges, and goals.

  • Identify prospects who may benefit from digital marketing, Shopify, CRO, advertising, or retention services.

  • Maintain confidence and professionalism when speaking with cold prospects.

  • Consistently meet daily call and outreach targets.

Appointment Booking

  • Schedule qualified prospects directly onto the sales team’s calendar.

  • Confirm the correct date, time, time zone, phone number, and email address.

  • Clearly explain what the prospect should expect during the sales call.

  • Ensure appointments are booked with the correct sales representative.

  • Prevent calendar conflicts and scheduling errors.

  • Send confirmation and reminder messages before each meeting.

  • Follow up with prospects to reduce cancellations and no-shows.

  • Reschedule missed appointments when appropriate.

Lead Qualification

Before booking an appointment, you will determine whether the prospect is a reasonable fit for the agency.

Qualification may include:

  • Type of business

  • Current monthly revenue

  • E-commerce platform

  • Marketing challenges

  • Current advertising activity

  • Conversion rate concerns

  • Need for Shopify development or CRO

  • Available budget

  • Decision-making authority

  • Urgency and timeline

  • Interest in agency services

You must avoid booking unqualified prospects simply to increase appointment numbers.

Quality, attendance, and sales potential are more important than filling the calendar with weak opportunities.

Pipeline Management

  • Manage leads through every stage of the appointment-setting pipeline.

  • Update the CRM immediately after every call, message, or interaction.

  • Record accurate notes about each prospect.

  • Assign the correct lead status and follow-up date.

  • Track new leads, contacted leads, interested prospects, booked appointments, no-shows, rescheduled appointments, and closed deals.

  • Ensure no qualified lead is forgotten or left without follow-up.

  • Maintain a clean, accurate, and organized pipeline.

  • Coordinate with sales closers regarding prospect quality and call outcomes.

  • Continue following up with leads who are interested but not ready to schedule immediately.

Follow-Up Management

Most prospects will not book after the first conversation. You will be responsible for maintaining consistent and professional follow-up.

This includes:

  • Calling leads multiple times when appropriate.

  • Sending follow-up emails and text messages.

  • Re-engaging older leads.

  • Following up with prospects who requested additional information.

  • Rescheduling no-shows.

  • Reviving opportunities that previously went cold.

  • Maintaining communication without becoming aggressive or unprofessional.

The ideal candidate understands that effective follow-up is one of the most important parts of appointment setting.

CRM and Reporting

  • Use the company CRM to manage all leads and activities.

  • Document call outcomes accurately.

  • Record prospect objections and important details.

  • Maintain complete contact information.

  • Track appointments, attendance, and closed deals.

  • Submit daily and weekly activity reports.

  • Report pipeline problems or lead-quality concerns.

  • Monitor personal performance against assigned KPIs.

  • Participate in sales meetings, coaching sessions, and call reviews.

Experience with platforms such as the following is preferred:

  • GoHighLevel

  • HubSpot

  • Apollo

  • Instantly

  • Calendly

  • Slack

  • Google Workspace

Required Experience

Candidates must have:

  • At least three years of appointment-setting, telemarketing, call-center, lead-generation, or outbound sales experience.

  • Previous experience making cold calls.

  • Experience booking appointments for sales representatives or closers.

  • Experience qualifying prospects before scheduling meetings.

  • Experience managing leads in a CRM.

  • Experience following up with prospects over multiple days or weeks.

  • A proven history of meeting call, appointment, or sales targets.

  • Strong spoken and written English.

  • Experience communicating with customers or business owners in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, or Australia is strongly preferred.

Digital Marketing Agency Experience

Previous experience working for a digital marketing agency is strongly preferred.

The candidate should understand or be willing to quickly learn services such as:

  • Google advertising

  • Email and SMS marketing

  • Lead generation

  • Website optimization

  • Sales funnels

  • Customer retention

You do not need to personally deliver these services, but you must understand them well enough to have credible conversations with prospects and identify potential opportunities.

Required Skills

Communication Skills

  • Excellent spoken English

  • Clear and professional phone communication

  • Strong listening skills

  • Confidence speaking with business owners

  • Ability to control and guide conversations

  • Ability to ask effective qualification questions

  • Professional email and messaging skills

  • Ability to explain services in simple language

  • Appointment setting

  • Lead qualification

  • Objection handling

  • Follow-up

  • Rapport building

  • Accurate note-taking

  • Calendar management

  • Time-zone coordination

  • Daily task management

  • Follow-up scheduling

Common Objections You Must Be Able to Handle

The successful candidate should be comfortable responding to objections such as:

  • “I’m not interested.”

  • “We already have an agency.”

  • “Send me some information.”

  • “We don’t have the budget.”

  • “Call me next month.”

  • “We are happy with our current results.”

  • “How did you get my information?”

  • “I don’t have time right now.”

  • “What exactly does your company do?”

  • “I need to speak with my business partner.”

The goal is not to pressure prospects. The goal is to understand the objection, provide a relevant response, and determine whether a conversation with the sales team would be valuable.

Key Performance Indicators

Performance will be evaluated based on:

  • Number of outbound calls completed

  • Number of meaningful conversations

  • Number of qualified appointments booked

  • Appointment attendance rate

  • Number of showed appointments

  • Appointment qualification rate

  • Number of appointments converted into closed deals

  • Follow-up completion rate

  • CRM accuracy

  • Pipeline organization

  • Daily activity consistency

  • Communication quality

  • Sales team feedback

Appointment Quality Standards

An appointment will generally be considered qualified when:

  • The prospect operates a legitimate business.

  • The prospect has a reasonable need for the agency’s services.

  • The correct decision-maker or a relevant stakeholder will attend.

  • The prospect understands the reason for the meeting.

  • The prospect has expressed genuine interest in exploring a solution.

  • The prospect has provided accurate contact information.

  • The Appointment Setter has recorded complete qualification notes in the CRM.

Appointments that are fake, duplicated, clearly unqualified, incorrectly scheduled, or booked without the prospect’s knowledge will not qualify for performance compensation.

Showed-Appointment Compensation

The Appointment Setter will receive $10 USD for each qualified appointment that attends the scheduled sales call.

An appointment must:

  • Meet the company’s qualification standards.

  • Be properly entered into the CRM.

  • Include accurate notes.

  • Attend the scheduled meeting.

  • Be confirmed as qualified by the sales team.

A booking alone does not qualify for the $10 payment if the prospect does not attend.

Closed-Deal Compensation

The Appointment Setter will receive $50 USD for each new client closed from an appointment they sourced and booked.

The closed-deal payment will apply after:

  • The sales team confirms that the appointment came from the Appointment Setter.

  • The prospect signs the agreement or accepts the service.

  • The client makes the required initial payment.

  • The payment is successfully received and is not refunded or reversed.

The ideal candidate:

  • Has at least three years of call-center or appointment-setting experience.

  • Is comfortable making a large number of outbound calls.

  • Speaks English clearly and confidently.

  • Understands how to qualify prospects.

  • Knows how to manage a sales pipeline.

  • Is persistent without being aggressive.

  • Follows up consistently.

  • Takes accurate notes.

  • Is motivated by performance-based compensation.

  • Wants to build a long-term career in sales and digital marketing.
