The Great Red Spot (TGRS), the largest storm on the Solar System that has been going on for hundreds of years, is now shrinking on Jupiter and moving Islamabad. TGRS is actively seeking a friendly, analytical and detail-oriented person in the role of Community Manager. You will help us grow the community by crafting high quality experiences while executing sales and operational tasks with excellence.     COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and launch community initiatives to create connections between different organisations in Islamabad

  • Build a quarterly calendar that engages all community stakeholders

  • Identify outside organisers and companies and encourage them to use our event space

  • Build TGRS’s CRM and digital community

  • Manage events’ allotted budget

  • Present TGRS as a space in the local community

  • Oversee events happening, from catering to a smooth event check-in process to cleanup

  • With the directors, be responsible for setting and achieving sales objectives, occupancy rates and pricing

  • Contact the local press and community leaders to generate interest in TGRS, as well as promote TGRS through digital platforms

  • Engage with the local community by attending relevant events they are hosting

  • Conduct regular meetings with the entire team to ensure members are aligned on key initiatives and performance goals

  • Hold weekly one-on-one meetings with each team member to review the status of individual tasks and goals

  • Ad-Hoc business related tasks as needed; including but not limited to: administrative tasks, facility maintenance activities and hospitality related activities that ensure customer satisfaction

  • Maintain an overview of the financial position of TGRS, utilising appropriate tools and providing reports to directors when required.

    EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

    • College graduate with a 4-year degree, preferably in business

    • 2-4 years experience with increasing responsibility in a management role

    • Demonstrated project management skills

    • Experience with written content generation and basic graphic design skills are a plus
